Dr. Hines performing an emergency dental procedure in Washington, DCPremier Dental Care offers urgent dental care to treat the following conditions:

  • Toothache that persists even after you brush, rinse, and floss
  • Knocked-out tooth
  • Injury to your gum, cheek, or tongue
  • Persistent bleeding
  • Broken or lost braces
  • Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
  • Lost fillings or crowns
  • Loose teeth
  • Dental abscesses

Knocked-Out Teeth

If your tooth has been knocked out, try to find it. Once located, rinse the tooth under warm water without scrubbing it. Next, place it in a cup of milk and bring it with you to your dental appointment. Dr. Hines and the rest of our team will try to save the tooth. If saving it isn't possible, Dr. Hines will discuss options for replacing the tooth, which may include dentures, a dental bridge, or dental implants.

Broken Teeth

Patients can experience broken, chipped, or cracked teeth in a number of situations, including athletics, accidents, and more. Dr. Hines and his skilled team have the skills needed to restore teeth from severe damage using the power of dental crowns and dental veneers. Both have the ability to restore your tooth's full functionality while maintaining its natural look! Our emergency dentist will always provide detailed explanations of your treatment options, with a focus on both restoring the tooth and preserving your healthy smile.

Severe Toothaches & Infections

In the case of a sudden, severe toothache, Dr. Hines is an expert at finding the cause of tooth pain, whether it’s a small cavity that has progressed, inflamed and receding gums, or any other urgent dental situation causing intense pain and infection.

If a tooth infection is left untreated for a long period of time, it can lead to an extremely painful and major tooth infection known as a dental abscess. Dental abscesses can settle into your jawbone and the floor of your mouth and may require oral surgery to remove the infection. Dr. Hines will always assess the root cause of your dental emergency and the best treatment plan for your unique situation during your emergency exam!
